Keynote Apple September 14: Apple Watch, Airpods, iPad What announcements with the iPhone 13?

Back to school time has come for Apple.The American group gave an appointment to the press Tuesday, September 14 for its next announcements.The event will once again be broadcast in streaming, pandemic obliges, from the Californian campus of the company.

As every year, September should be dedicated to the presentation of new iPhone.Apple is expected with four versions of the iPhone 13 (or 12S) with minimalist developments focused on the processor, screen and photography as well as better autonomy.The specialized press also evokes the addition of a satellite connection but this technology should not be ready for this year.

The keynote will also see the official launch of iOS 15 and its multiple advances (calls Facetime à several, Focus mode, Live Text, etc..) presented at WWDC last June.Already available in beta version, the update will be launched in its final version with the general public in the hours following the keynote.

A new design for Apple Watch

The iPhone will probably not be the only device presented in the evening.Apple usually takes advantage of its back -to -school conference to discuss the Apple Watch.The Apple Watch Series 7 should this year benefit from a new design, with a wide dial and screen and a square format closer to those of the last iPad and the iPhone, in a logic of standardization of the different ranges ofproducts.

But that could force Apple to shift its launch of one or more weeks and to offer it in lower volumes.The new range may also not be compatible with the bracelets of previous generations.

Apple Watch should also inherit an improved, more enduring processor, and a new operating system that will be presented during Keynote.But it should ignore new health features (glucomper, blood pressure monitoring), Apple focusing on updates of options already available, such as electrocardiogram, sleep monitoring and oxygen level measurement inthe blood.

An important update for AirPods

Another expected announcement, AirPods should be entitled to a third version and their biggest change in design since their launch in 2016.The new version of Apple's iconic headphones would come closer to the format of the AirPods Pro with shorter stems and three adjustable tips to personalize the maintenance in the ears.

Intra-dear format and active noise reduction would remain the prerogative of the pro AirPods.But the new AirPods should take advantage of the sound improvements in the H1 chip with a dynamic amplifier similar to that of the AirPods Pro.Rumors also announce the management of space audio and sound sound Dolby Atmos as well as the integration of AirPods 3 into Apple's "Locate" network to find them when they are out of reach of the iPhone.Finally, a "conversation boost" feature promises to improve the quality of telephone conversations via the iOS 15 update.

The iPad and the Mac in a next keynote?

Apple is also expected with new versions of the iPad Mini, its ultra compact tablet, which has not been updated since 2019, the IPAD of range and the MacBook Pro, which is still notoffered in 16 inch version with the M1 chip with tenfold performance.But analysts are rather expecting to see the Californian group reserving these announcements to another conference which could take place in the coming weeks.
