CES 2014 is an opportunity for companies to announce their 4K TVs. Vizio is no exception to the rule. And Vizio hit it big by announcing a 4K, or Ultra HD, TV for $1,000.

Vizio has therefore announced a 50-inch 4K TV that will be available in the coming weeks at $1,000. Of course, this is the cheapest model here. Vizio also announced a $2,600 75-inch 4K TV.

Like Samsung or LG televisions, 4K products will benefit from a smart TV interface and will be compatible with the 4K content that Netflix will distribute in the course of 2014.

Finally, reasonable prices. I never understood how manufacturers offer us 1080p and soon 4K smartphones on 5″-6″, without really increasing the price. Whereas for TVs it is triple the price directly…

If manufacturers manage to slash prices like this, we can hope that OLED will also fall fairly quickly. Personally, that's what appeals to me the most...

It remains to be seen now the quality of the image and also the connections (because 1 HDMI socket necessarily means an amp).

…Persowhat good is it to offer us TVs for less than 1000€…if we don't have official 4K bluerays! suddenly like that if opposite there are not the adequate supports (films, video games…). We progress on the one hand on the prices and on the other we have nothing to matter of the 4K! Am I the only one shocked…???Watching FullHD movies on a 4K TV, personally I find it very average!
