Cowboy Bebop: Faced with the failure of the series, Netflix cancels season 2

Il n’est jamais simple d’adapter un animé en série live-action. De nombreuses tentatives ont été faites (Dragon Ball, Death Note, Full Metal Alchimist) et peu d’entre elles ont connu le succès.

Despite a rather convincing mini-episode a month before the official release, the Cowboy Bebop series could not satisfy fans.

Le casting composé de John Cho, Daniella Pineda et Mustafa Shakir ne suffit pas à porter cette série qui, contrairement à l’oeuvre originale, souffre d’un tempo trop lent et dont l’aspect artistique n’est clairement pas à la hauteur des attentes.

The series is missing from what constitutes the soul of the anime despite a displayed will to stick as much as possible.It is therefore not surprising that Netflix made the decision not to renew it, less than a month after the broadcast of the first episode.

Hopefully the adaptation of One Piece, still on Netflix, and whose casting has recently been unveiled, knows a better fate than that of Cowboy Bebop.
