Recycle Bin with Windows 10
It is very easy to find your recycle bin in Windows 10. Here is how to do it:
Click on the Start button, then on Settings: Then select Personalization: In the left column, click on Themes: In the right column, click on the Desktop icon settings link: Finally, in the window that has just opened open, check the Recycle Bin box and click the Apply button: The Windows 10 Recycle Bin has found its place on the desktop.
Recycle Bin in Windows Vista or Windows 7
Right-click on the Desktop. In the pop-up menu that appears, choose Personalize. In the window that has just opened, click on the Change desktop icons link in the left-hand part. In the Desktop icon settings window, check the Trash box. Finally, click on the Apply button and then on OK.
And here is the Recycle Bin again present on your Desktop 🙂
How to restore recycle bin in Windows XP?
It can also happen that the Recycle Bin disappears with Windows XP. To restore it, simply right-click anywhere on the desktop then select Properties, go to the Desktop tab and then click the Desktop Personalization button. Then just select the elements to display or hide.
