Google is rolling out a new option in Gmail to allow you to save photos received as attachments to Google Photos.

Photos you receive as attachments in Gmail will never be saved again. lost in the back of your inbox. Google has just announced the imminent deployment of a new option allowing you to save the images, in JPEG format, attached in the messages received, directly in Google Photos.

In addition to the buttons to upload an image or send it to Google Drive, a Save to Google Photos button should arrive very soon. The option will also be accessible from the image viewing window, within of the options menu represented by three small dots. The arrival of this new function will save you from having to download the images and then save them manually in Google Photos.
