Here is france.tv, the modern replay service that replaces Pluzz

The France Télévisions group is modernizing its replay service with a new graphic charter and a new name.

The France Télévisions replay platform is getting a facelift. Forget FranceTV Pluzz, it is soberly renamed france.tv. This name change also accompanies a redesign of the site.

By changing its name and look, the replay service wants to be more airy and in tune with what is currently being done on the web. However, the operating system always remains the same, namely the possibility of reviewing programs fifteen days after their broadcast and watching live channels. And still a strawberry video player with Flash Player, unfortunately. But France Télévisions tells our colleagues from Next Inpact that it will switch to HTML5 video within “a few weeks”.

As for the video on demand service, the site remains the same: FranceTV Plus VÀD.

A new, more modern application

The Android mobile application is following the movement and according to the first feedback, evidenced by the comments on the Play Store, this new version greatly improves the user experience. Navigation is simplified and the interface more modern, much better adapted to the habits of users.

The revival of France Télévisions

This new domain name conceals the group's desire to permanently rename France Télévisions to france.tv, in order to modernize its image and appear more connected to the web. The new identity is to be expected for next September, with a graphic overhaul of its logos, in particular a little like the latest addition to the France Télévisions family, franceinfo.

Remember that the replay services of the France Télévisions group concern the France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5, France Ô and franceinfo channels.
