While the Hustler and Private applications have just appeared on Philips Net TV and Marc Dorcel is also offering his application on Panasonic connected screens (it should also arrive on Philips and Toshiba Smart TVs in August) , Samsung, LG and Sony apparently do not want to work with actors in the porn universe.
The problem is that the legislation concerning access to adult content is not the same from one country to another. Thus, the Hustler and Private apps are not available in Germany and Turkey, whereas they are in France and Great Britain (with, as a bonus, the availability of a new parental lock system).
The three main television manufacturers in Europe therefore do not wish to bother with this for the moment. For adult content providers, on the other hand, Smart TV is a boon and a promising new distribution channel. That's why they try to negotiate with the manufacturers.
