On the occasion of his Samsung Developer Conference (SDC), Samsung announced several new features for its TV operating system: Tizenos.We learn in particular that the environment will open, under license, to other manufacturers of televisions.

Enrich the experience of using its Tizenos and offer the system to other television manufacturers.This is the double objective of which Samsung is no longer making any secrets.On the occasion of the Samsung Developer Conference 2021, held this week, the Korean giant announced some new features for its operating system, starting with a partnership with Google aimed at giving its Smart TV better capacities during exchangesvideo.

Samsung has also announced that it wanted to add health functions to Tizenos.The idea would notably be to take advantage of a camera integrated into the TV to follow the user movements and display information during training.The bone should also be added gaming functions to reduce latency or even improve HDR calibration, reports XDA Developers.

However, Samsung presented two other projects: Tizen Business (dedicated to display screens in shopping centers, stations or even airports, among others) and Tizen TV Platform Licensing.This is to offer Tizenos under license to other televisions manufacturers, as does Google with Android TV or for a few months LG with Webos.

"Manufacturers wishing to operate a high -end TV platform like Tizen can do it quickly and at a lower cost, and use the Tizen brand to promote their products during major external events.This allows them to use Tizen TV to promote their products on the smart television market and, in the end, help more consumers take advantage of Tizen, "said Samsung in particular.

The fact remains that at present, the brand has not yet mentioned brands that have already agreed to pay a license to use Tizenos on their smart TVs.There is no doubt that the brand will reveal more about its project in the coming weeks, but we still note that LG had unveiled a list of partners as soon as its license project for Webos.
