A job offer from Iliad portends the arrival of good news for Italians.
After a gradual launch in France, voice over 4G should arrive at Iliad, on the other side of the Alps. The operator has indeed published a new job offer that will delight the 8.2 million Iliad subscribers in Italy.
In this offer, the operator explains that it is looking for an IMS/VoLTE core network technician. The future employee will have to collaborate with the engineering department in order to “incorporate and adopt new architectures, services and functionalities of the network”, but will also be in charge of obtaining assistance for the configuration of the mobile network and its troubleshooting. Among these new network features, voice over 4G is definitely part of the lot.
Our colleagues at UniversoFree suggest that the work has already been launched for some time, but that this new job offer portends an acceleration of the pace. A launch could therefore happen soon. It should also be remembered that Iliad is expected at the turn for a completely different launch: that of its fixed offers, with the IliadBox, initially planned for the end of the year.
