La Poste Mobile (SFR network) is expanding its offer of no-commitment SIM plans. In addition to the 2H and 3H plans as well as the unlimited plans with 2 GB and 5 GB, the mobile operator now offers a plan with 50 MB for occasional Internet users.

Note that if usage is blocked at 50 MB until the next billing date, customers will still have the option of unlocking this limit with Internet top-ups available at the price of €2 for 50 MB or €5 for 500 MB. Although La Poste Mobile has been offering 4G on some of its offers since the beginning of the year, this new package will only have access to the 3G+ network at 14.4 Mbits/s.

The Unlimited 24/7 50 MB SIM plan is sold at the price of 11.90 euros. It is non-binding, and available at a price of 9.90 euros if you are a Quatro customer (SFR Box offer + mobile plan).

More interesting competing offers

If we compare the new La Poste Mobile package with competing offers, we will point out the B&YOU package at €9.99 including 20 MB in H+ but which can be boosted to 100 MB for €1 more. Also note Virgin Mobile's €9.99 IDOL package including unlimited calls, SMS/MMS and 100 MB.

On the side of SFR RED, the 24H/24 package at €11.99 includes 50 MB. A price similar to that of the La Poste Mobile package, but the SFR RED offer also includes unlimited calls to mobiles and landlines in North America, overseas departments (excluding Mayotte) and to landlines in 52 destinations.

In the end, this new package only turns out to be really interesting as part of the Quatro offer.
