Change of network for Lebara: from January 1, 2022, Lebara subscribers will have to migrate from Bouygues Telecom to Orange.
Lebara, the MVNO specializing in prepaid pass and packages for the international, has decided to change operator: it goes from the Bouygues Telecom network to that of Orange.The "Orange is the New Lebara" migration plan is launched.
Migration on Orange via Rio
Lebara subscribers, using the Bouygues Telecom network, must connect to the Lebara Mobile France site to order a new SIM card, using the Orange network.Once the SIM card has been received, Lebara Mobile will ask subscribers to contact the 3179 to obtain the RIO and transfer the number to the new network.This network change via the Rio also means a change of formula in the MVNO contract (full to Light or Light to Full).SIM cards using Bouygues Telecom will be disabled on December 31, a complete termination.
To keep the Bouygues Telecom network, subscribers will have to migrate to one of the MVNO using it, in particular the competitor Lyca Mobile.
Lebara Sim cards on Orange already available
The new subscribers to the prepaid services of Lebara will benefit from a SIM card on the Orange network.As a reminder, Lebara uses a prepaid credit service with pass and packages:
The packages and Pass Data are valid for 30 days while international passs are valid for 14 days.
With the packages, an automatic renewal is activated after 30 days.If the prepaid credit is equal to or greater than the amount of the package, the latter is renewed.
