In France, the prices of mobile and landline subscriptions are down overall. In a report published recently, Ariase observes that the average price of a fiber box (entry-level) has fallen by 0.3% over one year: currently the subscription is offered on average at €25.67/month. SFR RED is the cheapest (€20.79/month on average), followed by Bouygues Telecom, Sosh, SFR, Free and finally Orange (€35.16/month).

It is important to note that if SFR RED, Bouygues and Sosh are the cheapest, it is because their entry-level offer does not include television. If you want a TV decoder from SFR RED, you have to add 19 € to the purchase. At Sosh, it's a €5/month option. In fact, apart from SFR RED, the operators no longer offer a triple-play offer at €30/month (outside the promotional period).

On the mobile side, the cost of a plan is on average €18.67/month, an even greater decline of 2.2% over one year. Bouygues Telecom offers the most advantageous rates for a subscription with more than 10 GB of data (€13.41 on average), neck and neck with SFR RED (€13.42).

This price war between operators is visible in this back-to-school period. If you need to change plans, there is still time to take advantage of certain promotions: SFR RED offers 80 GB for €10/month or 200 GB for €15 until September 22, exactly like Bouygues. At Sosh, the 60 GB package is offered at €14/month until the 27th.

On the fiber side, SFR RED is offering a discount on its subscription, which drops to €20/month of time until September 20. The Sosh box is also interesting (€15/month), but the package drops to €30 after one year.
