The Smart Monitor thus offers advanced mobile and PC connectivity, features dedicated to teleworking and e-learning, as well as Smart Hub, an entertainment platform inspired by that of Samsung Smart TVs.

Designed for entertainment…

With Samsung's Smart Hub, the Smart Monitor allows users to watch their favorite movies and series via Netflix, HBO and YouTube, among others, without the need for a PC or mobile device. A simple internet connection is sufficient. Users can easily access their content and enjoy an optimal experience thanks to the remote control and the integrated stereo speaker that equip the Smart Monitor. With the integration of Bixby 2.0, it is also possible to control it by voice command.

…like for productivity

The new Samsung Smart Monitor offers many connectivity options for PCs and smartphones. Users can connect their phone simply by placing it against the screen using Tap View, Casting or Apple AirPlay 2. For a full PC experience, they can also connect the smartphone to the monitor using Samsung DeX, with or without cable. Thanks to the Remote PC function, you no longer need a cable: the Smart Monitor allows you to connect to a PC located in another room of the house or elsewhere in the world!

For remote work and training, the Smart Monitor is able to launch Microsoft Office 365 without the need for a PC, thanks to the on-board WIFI. Users can thus consult, modify and save their documents in the Cloud directly from their Smart Monitor.

Additional features to improve everyday life

The USB-C port is used for data transfer, display, and power (up to 65W). Thanks to this all-in-one connection, the workspace remains uncluttered and tidy. The monitor is also equipped with 2 USB ports and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity.

At the same time, the monitor includes technology designed to make viewing more comfortable. Adaptive Picture technology provides a more relaxing experience for the eyes by automatically adapting brightness and color temperature according to lighting conditions. The monitor also has a blue light reduction mode.

The Smart Monitor is available in two models: the M5, a 27 or 32 inch Full HD screen and the M7, in UHD resolution with a diagonal of 32 inches. It will be marketed in France in early 2021.
