Windows 11 has been available since the beginning of October 2021. It now runs on several million computers worldwide. There are many returns.

The Feedback Hub is probably one of the most important places to discover community feedback, requests and queries. This is the recommended place to share your thoughts, comments or vote for other suggestions. It happens that from time to time Microsoft lingers in responding to certain requests.

A recent report offers an analysis of this Feedback Hub in order to have the TOP 10 of the most popular requests. They naturally concern Windows 11

The taskbar is the big star of these queries. The most popular wish is for Windows 11 to allow it to be moved to the top and sides of the screen.

Here is the list of the other 9 requests ranked by popularity.

Bring the "Task Manager" option back to the taskbar via a right click,

Allow the creation of groups and folders in the Start menu to better organize its pinned applications,

Allow dragging and dropping files onto application icons present in the taskbar,

Adjust taskbar to never combine app icons and show labels,

The return of a "small icon" option for the taskbar

The presence of the clock on all monitors and not only on the main monitor

Remove "TPM" hardware requirement from Windows 11

The ability to disable the Recommended section in the Start menu and make the entire area disappear in Windows 11

An option to disable news in widgets

Most requests do not concern new features but the return of certain Windows 10 features. Microsoft has indeed removed several options around the taskbar. At the same time, it is one of the major changes offered by the Windows 11 desktop.

Microsoft responded to some of the requests. So far only the ability to display the date and time on a secondary display has found its way into a Preview build of the Windows Insider Program DEV channel.

You can also test the new version of W10 21H2 Enterprise LTSC. Apart from the features compared to the old version 1809 as for all W10, there are no other changes. Except the disappointing: The support goes from 10 years (1809) to 5 years only (21H2) Might as well keep the old 1809 which will live longer

No interest for an individual to overpay a Windows 10 Enterprise *volume* license to benefit from the LTSC support channel.

Very often those who recommend this type of overkill solution for an individual do not pay for this type of license (cf. piracy)…

same price, not nearly passed on the 11 already seen the m*rdier that it was from 98 to 7, from 7 to 10 ..... not want to wipe plasters and for the moment my config is perfect, but do not not suitable for w11, and the latter does not suit me either..

For the "Task Manager" I always right click on the Windows logo there are all the options elsewhere.

Ben you have trouble watching … try to add an additional personal Toolbar lol

A toolbar of all Programs (which I use very often)

Under W10 it works to add the link C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs This link or another (It's moreover in the genre that bothered people as with the W10 Start menu and who wanted that of W7 (much less rich for my taste)… (there are a lot of logs to put this menu back under W10, but it's not for me, in addition they charge for it (not for everyone)

Well under W11 it doesn't work anymore... there is a manipulation to do in the Registry, but then it blocks the Start menu and the search tool (Tried, so backtrack)

We're not going to ask Microsoft to debug the hacks they probably don't even know about yet... lol

Personal W11 … In Test … under PC Compatible or under PC Not Compatible … that's why it works all the same (personal in Local Account … (I would never have a Microsoft account))

No, but it is not obligatory… on the other hand in Local Account there are more functionalities which do not work (even more than under W10) also physical properties on the PC… the fingerprint reader for example… this does not is not the only case
